    絕緣穿刺線夾(Insulation Piercing Connectors)主要由絕緣殼體、穿刺刀片、防水膠墊、力矩螺栓組成。當(dāng)做電纜分支連接時，將分支電纜插入支線帽并確定好主線分支位置后，用套筒扳手?jǐn)Q緊線夾上的力矩螺母，隨著力矩螺母的擰緊，線夾上下兩塊暗藏有穿刺刀片的絕緣體逐漸合攏，同時，包裹在穿刺刀片周圍的弧形密封膠墊逐步緊貼電纜絕緣層，穿刺刀片亦開始穿刺電纜絕緣層及金屬導(dǎo)體。當(dāng)密封膠墊和絕緣油脂的密封程度和穿刺刀片與金屬體的接觸達(dá)到效果時，力矩螺母自動脫落，此時，安裝完成且接觸點密封和電氣效果達(dá)到。
